A broad and hands on Leader, Total Rewards EMENA (Manager/Senior Manager) role for a well know B2B/B2C consumer brand. Own Total Rewards for the region as the organisation undertakes a strategic review of TR policies and operations. This will be a strategic and yet equally operational role and is a newly created position for the firm.

My client is a leading global brand for complete bathroom solutions and kitchen fittings. Since 2014 they have been part of the strong brand portfolio of a Japanese HQ and Listed MNC. With a Brand HQ and production in Germany they are a well known brand here in the UK and across the EMENA region. The Brand has some 6000 employees attributed to it across manufacturing, sales and management and is part of a 50,000 + headcount group. Revenues for the brand in isolation exceed 1.5 billion Euros and the Group itself over 11 billion euros.

Description

The Leader, Total Rewards for EMENA will be responsible for the implementation, management, and administration of total rewards policies and programs for the EMENA region. The position will lead market research and analysis, and develop compensation recommendations based on company guidelines related to compensation plans. This role will closely partner with and provide expert advice to HR Business Partners and management teams in the region to enable the business to attract, retain, and engage employees.

Your responsibilities

  • Partner with Total Rewards Analyst and HR Business Partners by providing guidance and administering compensation actions (e.g.job evaluation and market pricing, salary offers, market adjustments and variable pay) for the EMENA region
  • Lead the annual compensation planning process for the region and coordinate with local and regional HRBPs
  • Educates HRBPs, supervisors and managers on all benefits and compensation programs.
  • Advises management of appropriate resolution for benefits/compensation related issues.
  • Recommend, conduct, and participate in salary surveys in order to determine prevailing pay rates and maintain competitive compensation levels in given local market
  • In collaboration with the HRBP and/or Labor Relations COE,develops benefits/compensation proposals as part of union negotiation process
  • Complete benefits/pay practice studies to ensure EMENA is in compliance with local benefits and that compensation regulations are competitive and aligned with prevailing practices in the market.This may include elements such as savings plans, profit sharing,and competitiveness and impact on retention
  • Manage and maintain salary structures (Global Grading), analyzesalary survey data and develop merit budget recommendations,market reference points, and variable compensation elements.
  • Includes keeping the compensation framework accurate with current job/compensation data
  • Act as an advisor to employees and the international mobility team on international assignments. Partners with the regional Global Mobility team to complete offers for expats (short or long term) and cross-border transfers
  • Conduct ongoing research into emerging trends, issues and best practices and make proposals to optimise pay/benefit systems for our operations
  • Develops and generates reports to support key HR processes and perform necessary audits to ensure accuracy of compensation data

Profile

Leader, Total Rewards EMENA

  • 7 years or greater Total Rewards experience required
  • Experience working with works councils
  • would be beneficial
  • Experience working on employee pay and benefits programs
  • Bachelor's degree in human resource management, business orrelated field, or equivalent
  • Fluency in English is required
  • Solid organisational and multitasking skills to include effective time management and ability to handle multiple projects and priorities
  • Strong quantitative, analytical and problem solving skills, and attention to detail
  • Strong background in compensation design, analysis and administration, including experience with the design of incentive programs for professional and hourly
  • Knowledge of benefit programs and market practicesEffective verbal, written, and presentation skills with demonstrated ability to present complex ideasExperienced in deploying communication strategies and success metricsAbility to work independently and within a teamProficiency in the use of PC software tools for analysis, audits,reports, and presentations
