About the Role

We seek a Registered Ofsted Manager to oversee two brand-new 2-bed residential homes for children with ASD in the Aston Hall area. These homes, located just a 3-minute drive away, will provide high-quality, person-centred care to children with complex needs.

As the Registered Manager, you will play a crucial role in registering the homes with Ofsted, building a strong team, and ensuring compliance with regulations while fostering a nurturing environment that supports positive outcomes for the children in your care.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the registration process for both homes, ensuring they meet Ofsted standardsRecruit, train, and develop a high-performing care teamImplement and oversee person-centred care plans for children with ASDEnsure compliance with the Children’s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards

Develop strong relationships with external professionals, families, and stakeholders

Drive a culture of safeguarding, safety, and positive child development

Manage budgets and resources effectively to provide outstanding care

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Registered Manager in a children’s residential settingStrong knowledge of ASD and complex needs careExperience leading and developing care teamsAbility to successfully register and manage Ofsted-regulated homesA Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards)Full UK driving licence
