We are currently recruiting for a Senior Energy & Liability Claims Adjuster on behalf of our client, a very well established and highly regarded London Market Insurer.

The key purpose of the role is to handle a portfolio of Upstream and Offshore Energy claims proactively and efficiently, in compliance with the company's claims philosophy.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work for an insurer with an excellent reputation in the London Market, with plenty of opportunities for progression.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the adjustment, settlement and management of Upstream and Offshore Energy claims arising on policies underwritten by the company in a lead and follow position.
• Assist in the management of claims and outstanding resolutions, in line with the relevant regulatory authorities.
• Contribute to enhancements and modifications to claims processes and systems.
• Represent the company as a follower and leader at market meetings, and on external committees.
• Manage service provider effectiveness, including lawyers, loss adjusters, expert advisors, auditors, and TPAs.
• Assist in the management of Broker and Client relations to ensure proactive communication, and the delivery of service satisfaction.
• Liaise with related functions within the company - Underwriting, Actuarial, Risk Management, Finance, and Compliance.

Key Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience of handling Energy claims, ideally within the London Market.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Good numerical and analytical skills.
