As a Head of safeguarding & wellbeing, you will lead the implementation of safeguarding policies, promote a culture of vigilance, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements and organisational policies. They play a vital role in fostering an inclusive environment that prioritises learners' physical, mental, and emotional well-being, empowering them to succeed academically and personally. You will:
- Lead, manage, and develop the Safeguarding & Wellbeing teams to deliver outstanding services that meet the needs of a diverse learner population.
- Oversee and manage the Safeguarding & Wellbeing provision, ensuring it is accessible, responsive, and effective in meeting the needs of a diverse student body.
- Work with Service and Curriculum Heads, develop an effective Student induction programme, including safeguarding and wellbeing related training modules for learners.
