Title: Lead Unreal Engineer

Job Description

Main Responsibilities:

* Lead and execute project tasks and oversee real-time project initiatives.

* Implement custom interactive applications.

* Maintain existing systems and provide ongoing support.

* Develop and maintain bespoke applications for interactive and experiential projects.

* Coordinate with external teams and freelancers.

* Stay updated with the latest digital and real-time standards to enhance our digital offerings and user experience.

* Develop interactive software for new exhibits, including digital twins, VR, AR, and touchscreen interfaces.

* Improve current workflows to support current and future media creation.

* Share knowledge and collaborate with designers, producers, content developers, and other developers to ensure project success.

* Maintain production tools such as Perforce, GitLab, and AWS.

Qualifications and Experience

Required:

* Over 10 years of senior experience with Unreal Engine.

* Proven experience leading complex projects and coordinating team efforts.

* Expertise in Unreal Engine, including Blueprint and basic C++ knowledge.

* Thorough understanding of 3D optimization processes.

* Ability to adapt to and master new technical environments.

* Analytical problem-solving skills.

* Strong time management abilities.

* Proficiency in one or more DCC tools: 3ds Max, Maya, Blender, Rhino, etc.

* Experience with API integration.

* Knowledge of code versioning systems (Perforce, Plastic, Git, etc.).

* Keen eye for detail.

Desirable:

* Understanding of gaming UX principles.

* Experience with Houdini.

* Proficiency in Python.

* Experience working with USD and Omniverse.

* Familiarity with Jenkins.
