My client is a UK Not-for-Profit organisation that has seen significant growth over the last 5 years. As such it is looking to appoint an interim Head of Finance that can help transform the finance function into a first-class support function.

Reporting to the Director of Resources key responsibilities will include:

• Overall leadership of the accounting function including transactional processing, business partnering and financial reporting.
• Lead on the finance transformation plan, ensuring robust financial controls and processes are in place.
• Embed a customer focused finance business partnering approach, developing improved financial reporting for the organisation.
• Overseeing 3 people, embed a true team culture ensuring balanced workloads, personal development and colleague engagement are at the highest levels

The successful candidate will be a fully qualified accountant and have previous experience of working at this level within a finance function. With substantive experience in both financial and management accounts, you will be very comfortable with delivering change programmes. You will be an empowering leader with strong coaching skills, and the ability to develop and inspire others.

My client offers a flexible hybrid working policy, with 1 day a week in their London office.
