Job Title: Schedule Planner - Rail

Location: Tower Bridge, London

Salary: Up to £16 per hour

Contract: 3 months (extension if possible)

Are you an organized and detail-oriented individual with a knack for planning and coordination? We are seeking a dedicated Schedule Planner that has worked within a Rail business previously to join our clients dynamic team. This role is crucial in ensuring the rail services run smoothly by effectively managing staff rosters and schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

Create and manage staff rosters, ensuring all shifts are adequately covered.
Maintain accurate records of staff availability, absences, and leave.
Liaise with staff to confirm availability and address any rostering issues.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, including working time directives and health and safety requirements.
Communicate any changes to the roster promptly to all relevant parties.
Support the HR and Operations teams with any rostering-related queries or issues.
Monitor and report on rostering efficiency and identify areas for improvement.
Utilise rostering software and systems to manage schedules effectively.

Requirements:

- Excellent organizational and time management skills.

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Proficiency in using rostering software and systems.

- Attention to detail and the ability to multitask.

- Knowledge of working time directives and health and safety regulations.

- Previous experience in a scheduling or rostering role in a rail business.
