A detail-oriented Accounts Assistant is required for a role within the Accounting & Finance department of an exciting, fast-growing PR & Marketing Firm based in City of London. The role will support the Head of Finance with day to day bookkeeping and weekly/monthly reporting.

My client are a reputable, growing PR & Marketing firm based in the heart of London. As they expand their finance team are looking for additional support to ensure the smooth running of the business.

Description

  • Processing purchase invoices
  • Issuing PO's
  • Matching, batching and coding supplier invoices
  • Entering and updating data on Xero
  • Reconciling supplier statements
  • Preparing weekly payment run
  • Processing staff expenses and supporting staff queries, including reviewing expenditure and ensuring guidelines are met
  • Generating weekly, monthly and ad hoc reports and financial analysis from finance systems
  • Assisting Accounts Receivable Specialist with sales invoice process, preparation of monthly invoicing list, recording PO's and rechargeable expenses
  • Supporting the head of finance with ad hoc
  • Acting as the finance point of contact for staff members and queries

Profile

The successful candidate will have:

  • Strong bookkeeping experience including generating reports / analysis
  • Previous experience in a growing SME business / lean finance team
  • Strong excel experience
  • Experience using Xero is preferred
  • Experience using Pleo and Harvest are beneficial
  • Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work under pressure.
