We are recruiting on behalf of a renowned, multi-award-winning talent management, television production, and live promotion group with offices in London, Los Angeles, and New York. This is an exceptional opportunity to become a key player within a dynamic Finance team, where your work will directly impact some of the most distinguished names in the world of entertainment, including actors, comedians, writers, and directors.

About the Role:As a Management Accountant, you will be an integral part of the Finance department, collaborating closely with the Management department, Artist Managers, and their Assistants, as well as working with central Finance and Operations teams. You’ll be responsible for the preparation of monthly management accounts, including variance analysis, and will play a pivotal role in the financial health and operational efficiency of the group. Your expertise will contribute to strategic decision-making and ensure that the company maintains its leading position in the industry.Key Responsibilities:

  • Management Accounting: Prepare detailed monthly management accounts for various business units, including variance analysis against budgets and previous years, with insightful commentary on key drivers and movements.
  • Financial Reconciliation: Oversee monthly reconciliations, including balance sheet reconciliations, and work closely with the client payment team to address variances and errors.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and re-forecasts, ensuring accurate and timely financial planning.
  • Cash Flow Management: Monitor and forecast cash flow, ensuring sufficient liquidity for operational needs and overseeing timely payment of recharges across the group.
  • Financial Reporting and Compliance: Manage the group’s financial reporting, including VAT returns, corporation tax journals, and annual financial statements. Liaise with auditors and ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations.
  • Debt Management: Control management debt, coordinate with relevant teams for debt recovery, and prepare monthly debtors' reports for group management.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously review and enhance financial processes and controls to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and develop a Finance Assistant, ensuring accurate financial postings and providing guidance to support their growth.
