A FTSE 100 Technology organisation located in Central London requires a Senior IT Auditor to join their Internal Audit team. You will support Internal Audit in providing risk-based independent assurance and ensure that the technology landscape remains resilient, secure, and compliant with policies and best practices.
The position is flexible 100% HOMEWORKING or hybrid 1 - 2 days in the office - it's YOUR choice.This is an excellent opportunity to join a large, diverse and rapidly growing Technology Audit team.
Responsibilities - Senior IT Auditor
- Be a trusted advisor to the Audit and Risk Committee by using subject matter expertise to identify and report on areas of concern and good practice
- Lead the planning, execution, and reporting of risk-based technology audits, covering areas such as IT operations, cybersecurity, cloud environments, and emerging technologies
- Provide subject matter expertise in IT service management, network resilience, and information security to deliver impactful audit outcomes
- Use data analytics to enhance audit effectiveness and provide deeper insights to key stakeholders
- Develop strong business relationships while maintaining professional independence to ensure impactful and actionable audit findings
- Stay abreast of developments in 5G, IoT, Blockchain, and other cutting-edge technologies to deliver high-quality assurance across diverse topics and operating contexts
Skills & experience - Senior IT Auditor
- An experienced IT audit professional with a sharp analytical mindset and the ability to navigate complex IT environments.
- Expertise in IT governance, controls, and risk management (e.g., ITIL, COBIT, ISO standards)
- Strong audit experience (internal/external), with a proven ability to assess risks, articulate business impact, and recommend business-focused solutions
- Technical knowledge in IT operations, IT service management, technology resilience, information security, cloud environments, operating systems, and enterprise applications (Microsoft Stack, SAP)
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience in complex, multinational environments
- Relevant certifications such as CISA, ITIL, or COBIT (additional qualifications such as CISSP, CISM, or ISO27001 are a plus)
