Job Purpose

As an Audit Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a varied portfolio of audit clients, ensuring high-quality service delivery
  • Leading audit engagements from planning to completion, overseeing all aspects of the process
  • Reviewing audit work, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor
  • Supervising, mentoring, and developing junior staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team
  • Supporting business development activities, identifying opportunities to expand the firm’s services
  • Working closely with Partners to contribute to the strategic direction of the audit department

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be ACA or ACCA qualified with significant audit experience in UK practice
  • Demonstrate a strong technical understanding of audit regulations and standards
  • Have a proven track record in managing client portfolios and leading audit engagements
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach
  • Be a confident leader with experience in mentoring and developing junior staff
  • Have a proactive approach to identifying business development opportunities
  • Be highly organised with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects effectively
