Job: Bookkeeper

• 30hrs a week 0900 - 1530
• Temp to perm
• £20,000 to £23,400 a year depending on experience
• Location: Peterborough

We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our clients team. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. This role requires a high level of accuracy and proficiency in accounting software, particularly Sage.

Role description

• Sales Ledger using SAGE
• Purchase Ledger using SAGE
• Credit Control using SAGE
• Payroll using SAGE PAYROLL
• Data entry to HMRC website
• Data entry to Peoples Pension via website
• Daily reconciliation of bank statements
• General account duties
• Assist in the day to day work order processes.
• Ensure that all communications, correspondence, filing and information requirements are dealt with in a timely fashion.

Skills required

• Ideal applicants to have at least 3 years CURRENT experience of using SAGE on a daily basis
• Microsoft applications, Outlook, Excel, Word
• SAGE accounting software and SAGE payroll
