About Us:

BRG are working with a fantastic company offering the chance to work for a top Residential Design and Construction company in London, which has decades of expertise building high-quality house additions.

Position:

We are looking for a Site Inspector to visit all of our project sites in London once a week to conduct inspections. By ensuring that our safety and quality control standards are upheld, you will be working with our general manager and assisting us in adhering to CDM laws.

Key Duties:

• Weekly reviews of every project's quality control

• Take pictures to show the general manager how things are going; provide feedback on any flaws and/or suggested fixes

• Prepare written reports as needed

• Ensure that assurance requirements are met based on regulatory compliance

• Finish inspections to document any flaws found during construction that become apparent after the work is finished

• Make sure your management is informed of these and that the situation is escalated

• Stay informed on building codes and compliance

• Display a solid grasp of the home construction sector, possess a foundational level of technical and construction awareness and competence, and be able to demonstrate a solid working knowledge of the materials, trades, procedures, and regulations

Key Requirements:

• Experience in site management or site inspection in the residential field

• Although not required, CDM credentials are desirable, and training will be given

• Strong writing and verbal communication skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

• Educated to an A level or higher, is dependable and competent, and exudes confidence when interacting with people from diverse backgrounds.

Location:

• Site visits will be conducted over several days while travelling throughout Greater London with sporadic stops to our offices
