Our Client are one of the fastest growing, privately owned, building maintenance and facilities management support services companies in the UK. They are a well-recognised and respected brand in the UK facilities management marketplace, delivering high levels of service to key blue-chip clients.

They are currently looking to recruit several Electricians on a permanent basis to carry out electrical planned and reactive maintenance activities.

The primary responsibilities are detailed below, however our Client may require additional responsibilities to be absorbed within reason from time to time to meet business demands.

• Electrical fault finding and problem solving;

• Electrical signage fault finding and repair;

• Install door entry systems;

• Carrying out test and inspections;

• Install and maintain wiring and lighting systems;

• Commercial / emergency lighting repair and install;

• EICR certification and remedial tasks;

• Fire alarm inspection and repair;

• Air conditioning first attendance and electrical repair;

• Fuse box and circuit breaker repair;

• Install new switches and sockets;

• Water heater maintenance and replacement;

• Power supply to auto-doors, fridge, security and catering and concession equipment;

• Magnetic locks;

• Providing support and advise to non-electrical Engineers;

• Maintain accurate records of all works undertaken;

• Ensuring that Health and Safety procedures and safe working practices are adhered to at all times, in accordance with all technical standards;

Skills/Knowledge/Qualifications:

• Full Clean UK Driving License;

• Have a positive 'can do' attitude; • Ability to work on own or as part of a team;

• Good communication and customer service skills;

• Be able to priorities all allocated work sensibly and efficiently;

• Knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems desirable;

• Full industry recognised Electrical Installation qualification obtained to NVQ Level 3, or equivalent;

• BS#removed#th/18th Edition;

• City & Guilds #removed# Inspection and Testing Course (Periodic & Initial Inspection & Testing) desirable;

• Asbestos Awareness Certificate;

• IPAF - Mobile Vertical (3a) + (3b) Mobile Boom desirable;

• PASMA - Mobile Access Tower for Users desirable;

• UKPIA / SPA Petrol Retail Contractors Safety Passport desirable
