Shifts for Label Room Controller:

  • 06:30 - 15:30

Pay:

  • £26,500 - £30,500 dependant on experiance

Main Duties of Label Room Controller

  • Ensure all labelling of products is completed in compliance with quality control standards.
  • Manage and maintain the correct labelling of vegetables in the packhouse, ensuring labels are clear and accurate.
  • Handle and organise labelling materials, ensuring stock levels are monitored and replenished when necessary.
  • Use computer systems to track product information and update relevant records (Microsoft Word, Excel).
  • Perform quality checks on labels to confirm the accuracy of product details.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for traceability and reporting purposes.
  • Coordinate with the Head of Operations, Supervisors, and Managers to address any issues related to labelling or inventory.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing duties.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the label room, maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Maintain a professional and cooperative relationship with team members and management, even while working independently.
  • Driving Licence desirable

Working Conditions:

  • Site-based role at the production facility (packhouse).
  • Lone working environment with occasional interaction with the wider team.
  • Standard working hours with flexibility required during peak production periods.
  • Full training will be provided on company systems and labelling procedures.
