Assistant Management Accountant?? Location: Cambridge| ?? Full-Time | HybridAre you a proactive and detail-oriented finance professional looking to take the next step in your career? We are seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join our clients team and play a key role in managing financial processes, ensuring accuracy, and driving efficiencies within our finance function.Key Responsibilities:? Purchase Ledger Management - Process and pay supplier invoices, reconcile credit card transactions, and review employee expense claims.? Payroll Processing - Submit payroll data to outsourced provider, review reports for accuracy, and record payroll expenses in the general ledger.? Bank Reconciliation & Fund Management - Reconcile bank accounts and manage funds held in high-interest accounts.? General Ledger & Reporting - Prepare general ledger entries, including prepayments, accruals, and fixed assets.? VAT & Compliance - Prepare and submit VAT returns.? US Subsidiary Accounting - Own the general ledger and process transfer pricing entries.? Month-End & Audit Support - Assist in the production of monthly management accounts, including reconciliation reports, and support the annual audit process.? Budgeting & Analysis - Contribute to the annual budgeting process by analysing historical spend and trends.? Process Improvement - Help drive efficiencies and improvements across financial processes and systems.What We’re Looking For:?? Part-qualified CIMA, ACCA, or ACA (or actively working towards qualification).?? Experience with cloud-based accounting systems (e.g., Xero, NetSuite, or similar).?? Proficient Excel skills, with strong analytical abilities.?? Meticulous attention to detail and a drive for accuracy.??
