Internal Communications Consultant

Salary: Circa £55,000 per annum

Location: Southampton (1 day a week in the office)

Hours: Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm

Contract: 9 Month Contract

Our client is driven by a clear vision and strong values. They're looking for a dynamic and proactive Internal Communications Executive to join their team in Eastleigh and play a vital role in bringing their Company story to life for every UK-based employee.

Main Responsibilities:

* Supporting the Internal Communications Manager in developing and executing comprehensive communication plans for the UK teams.

* Writing, editing, and drafting a diverse range of internal communications materials.

* Championing the importance of excellent internal communications across the business.

* Project managing changes to internal communication processes and activities.

* Collaborating with HR Business Partners to address functional communication needs.

Skills/Experience Required:

* Ideally, a degree in Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, or Marketing.

* Proven experience in producing and managing a variety of written and visual content, with exceptional proofreading skills.

* Experience in internal communications, employee communications, or change communications.

* Experience dealing with comms plans for employees going through TUPE (highly desirable).

* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels.

* The ability to communicate sensitive issues effectively and engagingly.

* A keen eye for identifying external communication potential in internal stories.

* Excellent project management and prioritisation skills to manage multiple tasks.

* The ability to plan, create, and execute communication strategies.

* A proactive, energetic, and passionate approach with a focus on building strong relationships.
