We are seeking an experienced Pre-School Teacher to join a wonderful setting close to Camden Town in North London, which offers a warm and friendly welcome. Its light and airy rooms provide a great space for children to explore and learn through play along with a garden to the rear, with an educationally designed outdoor learning area. This setting is close to both tube and train stations as well as local bus routes.

The pre-school program is designed to foster creativity, curiosity, and a love for learning through play-based and child-centred approaches. As a Pre-School Teacher you will lay the foundational groundwork for young children's educational journey. You will create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that fosters early cognitive, social, and emotional development. Through play-based and structured activities, you will introduce essential concepts and skills, and assess individual needs to support each child's growth. This is a crucial position which prepares children for future academic success and instils confidence for learning.

Responsibilities:

Plan and Implement Curriculum: Develop and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans that align with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
Create a Safe and Nurturing Environment: Ensure the classroom is a safe, welcoming, and inclusive space where every child feels valued and supported
Individualized Learning: Assess each child's developmental needs and tailor activities to promote their cognitive, social, and emotional growth
Collaboration with Parents: Maintain open communication with parents, providing regular updates on their child's progress and involving them in the learning process
Classroom Management: Establish and enforce rules for behaviour and procedures for maintaining an organized and productive classroomKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Hold full and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching in an early childhood setting
Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and its implementation
Demonstrate an enthusiasm for working with young children and a commitment to their holistic development
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
