Are you an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor looking to work with a specialist contractor in industrial new build and steel frame projects? Our client, a leading construction company based in Stevenage, is seeking a commercially astute PQS to manage cost control, procurement, and contract administration across multiple projects.

The Role:

As a Project Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in managing the financial and contractual aspects of new build industrial projects, ensuring successful delivery within budget and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee cost management and commercial control across multiple industrial projects.

* Manage procurement, subcontractor negotiations, and contract administration.

* Prepare valuations, variations, and final accounts.

* Conduct risk assessments and cost forecasting to support project delivery.

* Collaborate closely with clients, project managers, and site teams to maintain efficiency.

* Ensure compliance with JCT and NEC contracts while maximising project profitability.

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Project Quantity Surveyor in industrial, steel frame, or commercial new build projects.

* Strong understanding of cost control, procurement, and contract management.

* Knowledge of JCT and NEC forms of contract.

* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

* Ability to work autonomously and within a team.

* Full UK driving license - site visits may be required.
