Technical Sales Engineer
Location: UK
Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 + Car (or car allowance) + Bonus

An Excellent opportunity for a Sales Engineer or Maintenance Engineer with experience in a relevant manufacturing environment to join a well-established and thriving automated packaging company as a Technical Sales Engineer.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop UK markets with a proven product and work for a company that specializes in providing customized solutions tailored to meet the unique requirements of automated bagging.

Do you have experience in automated bagging or packaging? Are you an engineer with a background in manufacturing, specifically with VFFS or Doypack machines, looking to transition into a sales role? This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a company that is a leader in automated bagging across various sectors. While the focus will be on the powders and aggregates industries, there are also opportunities within the food, Petcare, and Animal Nutrition sectors where the company's products excel.

You will be responsible for business development within these markets, creating turnkey solutions for manufacturers seeking upgrades, increased speed, efficiency, and customized products to meet their specific needs.

To succeed in this role, a strong understanding of the processes involved, including electrical and mechanical components, as well as the ability to interpret CAD drawings, is essential. If you have experience with VFFS, automated bagging, valve top, Doypak or similar bagging equipment, within a technical sales role, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

The Role:

Mixture of Business Development and continued account development
Focusing on UK Powders & aggregates industries
UK wide position (home based 2 days a month in office)

The Person:

Good understanding of Automated bagging for manufacturers
Sales or Technical Sales background from a relevant automated background
Or an Engineer from an automated bagging background looking to transition into sales / technical sales role
Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings
Good commercial awareness, and ability to think of solutions for bespoke requirements
