Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor
Location: Birmingham, West Midlands.
Salary / Benefits £24k - £35k + Training + Benefits
Experience: Asbestos Surveyor through to Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst.

Our client is a leading player within the Asbestos industry, and holds a national presence, with longstanding clients across Domestic, Local Authority, Commercial, and Industrial sectors. They are now looking to take on an Asbestos Surveyor to join their team in the West Midlands region. You will be joining a team of hard working and dedicated staff, carrying out the full range of surveying duties across a mixed portfolio of sites, ensuring work is carried out in line with HSG 264 guidelines. Due to the nature of the role, our client would give consideration to candidates who hold a mix of the BOHS P402, P403, & P404 qualifications. For the successful candidate, our client can offer support and opportunities to gain further Pcert modules as well as offering cross training into other environmental sectors.
Consideration will be given to candidates from: West Bromwich, Tamworth, Lichfield, Coalville, Burton upon Trent, Stoke-on-Trent, Derby, Nottingham, Beeston, Stafford, Shrewsbury, Telford, Walsall, Wolverhampton, Dudley, Stourbridge, Kidderminster, Ludlow, Solihull, Worcester, Warwick, Royal Leamington Spa, Coventry, Market Harborough, Corby, Leicester, Melton Mowbray, Loughborough.

Experience & Qualifications:
" At a minimum, will hold the BOHS P402 qualification.
" Will have experience working hands on for a UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy.
" Holding the BOHS P403 / P404 would be beneficial to the role but not essential.
" Will be well versed in HSG 264 guidelines & will hold knowledge of HSG 248 guidelines.
" Excellent communication skills, able to work well independently and as a team.
" Good IT skills, able to use industry recognised systems e.g., TEAMS / TRACKER.
The Role:
" Working on a mixed portfolio of sites, conducting management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys.
" Sampling of suspected ACMs, ensuring to bag and label correctly prior to sending to the laboratory for analysis.
" Undertaking reinspection surveys upon completion of work.
" Ensuring work is being carried out in line with HSG 264 guidelines.
" Using industry relevant systems to produce detailed reports based on site findings. (TEAMS / TRACKER)

Performing the following analysis duties if BOHS P403 / P404 is held:
" Stage 4 clearances.
" Smoke, leak, background, re-occupation, and personal air testing.
" Carrying out onsite audits in line with company / client needs.
" Carrying out work in line with HSG 248 guidelines.
