Job Title: Fire Safety Surveyor

About The Role

We are seeking a skilled Fire Safety Surveyor with strong experience in project management to join the Asset Management team of a small and localised housing association.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering fire safety-related projects including both active and passive fire safety systems. Current projects including fire alarm systems, sprinkler systems, external wall remediation and addressing ventilation in properties.

You will work with external assessors to identify fire risks in order to rectify actions set from assessments, managing contractors to complete projects in a timely manner within allocated budgets.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will have:

Proven experience managing fire-related projects.
Expertise in leading contract management and building repairs or renovation projects.
A professional qualification (HNC/HND in Building Surveying, CIOB, or equivalent).
Strong knowledge of fire safety regulations and legislation.
A solid understanding of residential building structures and fire safety principles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent time management skills.
A full UK driving licence
