The Team & Focus of the Role

At Fisher German our customers and clients are at the heart of what we do. We have long standing relationships with many of our clients through the generations (some up to 80+ years). This is due to the trust they have in us to deliver what we say we will on time. We are a multi-disciplinary surveying consultancy with a history to be proud of.

Due to growth, we’re now looking for a Rural Accounts Payable Administrator to join our Rural Clients Account Team to support the management of our clients financial portfolios in relation to their properties, estates and assets. This role will suit you if you can demonstrate strong experience of working within a finance department either as a Finance Administrator, Bookkeeper or Accounts Payable Assistant, are a strong team player and you are driven by a high attention to detail.

The role will be based from our Ashby de la Zouch office, it will be full time (Monday - Friday, 9am - 5.30pm) however we can be flexible on start/finish times as long as our core hours of 10am - 4pm are covered.

In return, beyond your base salary you will be included in:

Duties will include:

  • Oversight of Rural invoice inbox
  • Coding of invoices through Verify platform
  • Dealing with general enquiries, invoice queries and statements
  • Liaising with property managers to resolve delays in coding & authorisation to ensure timely settlement
  • Authorisation of bank details

The successful candidate will have...

  • Good written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to interact and deal with stakeholders both via phone and email
  • Working knowledge of Xero
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise, with excellent time management skill
  • Strong attention to detail, be diligent and precise in how you deliver work
  • Able to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Excel knowledge, with the understanding of simple formulas, Vlookups, Concatenation and text to columns.
