Deluxe Technical FM are hiring for a Commercial Gas Engineer in the North-West

The Role
Due to on-going expansion Deluxe Technical FM are looking for a Commercial Gas Engineer to join their team. The role is to respond & repair to all types of gas heating and plumbing to a wide range of properties including commercial and care homes throughout the North West. No call out required.

Overview

Full-time, permanent position

Monday to Friday (40 hours)

Up to £42,000 Basic (depending on skills and experience, negotiable)

Travel paid door to door

Fuel card, uniform and PPE provided

The Responsibilities
As our Commercial Gas Engineer, you'll be responsible for:

* Working in various commercial & industrial client sites Fault Finding, Service, maintenance & breakdown work on commercial & industrial heating and ventilation plant.

* Planned and reactive maintenance

* Working on a variety of equipment including boilers, burners, radiant heaters, AHUs etc

* Maintenance & PPM certification paperwork to be completed on PDA.

* Identify areas for additional works within and out of the specified contractual requirements, supplying accurate quotations where required for any additional works.

* Understand and complete all work-related documentation accurately on time, and to exceed the customer's expectations.

* Comply with company policies and procedures.

* Carry out work in a safe and diligent manner.

* Working alongside the current team of engineers

* Comply with all Health and Safety policies and procedures.

* Attend and fully participate in training and appraisal activities as required.

* Liaising with the office via phone calls, emails, and use of the PDA system

* Reporting to the regional manager

The Person

This ideal person who'll thrive in this role:

* A good general experience in working in care homes or commercial sector environment preferable.

* Has their own Van and Tools

* Generally, IT literate.

* Clear communicator both oral and written.

* A customer focused approach.

* Plumbing, AC, commercial plant fault finding preferable.

The Essential Criteria

* Gas Safe

* CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1,

* Full UK driving licence.

* Enhanced DBS clearance
