Technical Customer Support | Wadhurst, East Sussex | 9am - 5:30pm, Monday to Friday| £27,000 - £29,000 pa depending on experience

We are a company that provides wholesale distribution of specialist lighting components and lighting solutions/designs to the sign and lighting industries.

Our dedicated and compact team is passionate about providing excellent service and high-quality products to our customers.

As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in the ongoing success and growth of our company, as a small company we are looking for someone adaptable and willing to get involved with all aspects of the business.

We are seeking a sociable, creative, and adaptable individual who enjoys working in a team and engaging with people. The ideal candidate will be practical, willing to learn, and eager to develop new and existing skills. As a Technical Customer Support, you will be the first point of contact for technical matters and will liaise with suppliers on technical questions.

We are located 10 - 15 minutes walk from the Wadhurst station.

Are you the right person for the job?

Good PC skills and knowledge of basic drawing software and spreadsheets
An understanding of Electricals, Electronics and the sign industry will be an advantage

Willingness to learn and adapt to new software packages with on-the-job training
Full, clean driving licence
Excellent communication skills and a proactive, customer-focused attitude.
Potential of the occasional site visit to a customer

What will your role look like?

Become familiar with the company's product range and industry-specific lighting solutions
Handle customer enquiries and orders via phone, email or via the website. Whilst maintaining a professional and friendly telephone manner
Process customer enquiries and assist customers in identifying the products that best suit their needs.
Process customer orders, including packing and dispatch.
Prepare documents for customer quotations after training. Use Spreadsheets effectively
Looking for and suggesting relevant products to expand our offering to customers
