Our client is a family-run Supported Living provider who are seeking a dedicated and driven CQC Registered Manager to lead their new service in Spalding, Lincolnshire. This role is integral to maintaining their commitment to providing outstanding care, whilst ensuring compliance with CQC standards, and managing the daily operations of the service. Their existing service is currently rated CQC Outstanding and joining you in this service are staff member who have worked within that service!

  • Registered Manager, 8-bedded Supported Living
  • Annual Salary: £42,000 plus 10% discretionary bonus
  • Spalding, Lincolnshire
  • 40hrs/week, Monday-Friday

Day-to-day of the role

  • Oversee the daily operations of the supported living service, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care.
  • Maintain strict adherence to regulatory standards and ensure seamless operation of the service.
  • Manage and respond to crisis situations with professionalism, providing support to those in need.
  • Lead and motivate care teams, fostering a culture of encouragement and teamwork.
  • Liaise with clients and discuss various aspects of care, including the Transforming Care Agenda and Complex Care packages.
  • Ensure financial management and planning are conducted proficiently.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Registered Manager in a setting providing support to clients with forensic mental health challenges.
  • Extensive experience in supporting people with learning disabilities and complex needs.
  • Level 5 Qualifications in Health and/or Social Care in Adult Care or commitment to pursue it.
  • Excellent understanding of CQC requirements and a history of managing and delivering exceptional care.
  • Proficiency in safeguarding, compliance, and maintaining the highest care standards.
  • Experience in leading and motivating care teams.
  • Familiarity with the Transforming Care Agenda, Complex Care packages for Mental Health, Supported Living, Learning Disabilities, and Behaviours of Concern.
