TimePlan are recruiting for a Qualified Secondary School English Teacher for a wonderful school in Horley!

The successful teacher must:

✔️Be a qualified teacher to UK standard (QTS)

✔️Be passionate about teaching secondary-aged students (ages 11-16)

✔️Have experience in planning and marking English lessons

✔️Have or be able to apply for a DBS

✔️Be able to work Full Time from either June or September

Key Responsibilities:

✔️Delivering engaging and informative English lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4

✔️Planning and preparing lessons that meet the needs of all learners

✔️Marking and assessing student work to monitor progress and provide constructive feedback

✔️Creating a safe and positive learning environment that encourages student growth

✔️Supporting students with their literacy skills, encouraging a love of reading and writing

The ideal candidate will have experience teaching English to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, with a strong commitment to planning and marking student work. You'll be ready to create an inspiring and supportive classroom where students can thrive academically and personally.
