About our Client

  • Our client manufactures and installs a wide range of both high-quality bespoke joinery for specialist clients and standard joinery for all project  types and sectors within the industry.

About the Role

  • Be responsible for all operations of the factory, which includes ensuring production is on target, optimize production flow, and maintain the highest of quality of each product.
  • Manage end-to-end relationships with all production departments and teams where necessary.
  • Present strategies for best practices.
  • Reevaluate and optimize production systems.
  • Follow and monitor all orders in production.
  • Create stock control and manage accordingly with the Warehouse team.
  • Work collaboratively with Floor Manager and Office to resolve any issues on a daily basis and plan new production workloads to ensure efficient and effective support.
  • Continually improve and develop production processes and protocols to prevent repeat problems and improve efficiency.
  • Oversee budgets for buying department and assist with best practices to secure favorable costs on materials.
  • Contribute to strategic planning process by setting and delivering against KPI?s.
  • Oversee the entire production chain from receipt of production order to final quality control.
  • Look to improve production processes and team management control.
  • Create, update and implement job descriptions and workflow.
  • Handle all HR related matters including recruitment.
  • Be responsible for Health & Safety for the factory and implement best practice procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.

About the Candidate

  • Background in joinery manufacturing experience 
  • IT literate with sound experience using Microsoft Office.
  • Strong people management skills.
  • Thorough understanding of all production principles and systems.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Excellent time keeping and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work under pressure both individually and as part of a team.
  • Organised and professional, capable of working on multiple projects simultaneously without compromising on accuracy.
  • Attention to detail and a good understanding of technical/production drawings.
