Cantello Tayler Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Logistics Apprenticeship to join our client based in Crewe.

To process and dispatch customer orders to required service levels. To provide the highest possible service to the UK Market and other areas of the company where required. To achieve all Warehouse Operations key performance indicators relating to operational accuracy and efficiency.

The successful Logistics Apprenticeship will be responsible for:

To deploy and organise themselves to work as a team to achieve the highest levels of productivity and quality and to strive to achieve the Warehouse Operations key performance indicators.
To process customer orders and internal orders using SAP and WMS functionality to specified performance standards. To ensure that each order leaving the premises is assembled to the highest possible standard. Maintain accurate daily stock checking and resolution of any errors following the completion of each days outbound activities.
To adopt a pro-active attitude to customers; recognising individual needs, plan and prioritise work accordingly to achieve the highest level of customer service whilst remaining vigilant of quality.
To control stock through the secure storage of products at Crewe and carrier depots, and to adhere to strict procedures for the movement of stock which demonstrates a high regard to its value, quality, and security.
To plan warehouse operations to facilitate both the objectives of customers and the warehouse operations team. Through the collaboration and the development of partnerships with our 3PL, ensure that third party transport services achieve the highest level of customer service.
Fully comply with the requirements of all Health & Safety legislation. Ensuring all activities are carried out in accordance with the Health and Safety training provided by the company.
Under the guidance of the Warehouse Operations Manager, team members are expected to flexibly engage in various tasks and contribute to special projects as needed. It is essential to adhere to all policies and procedures, with particular attention to Health and Safety, IT Security, and the Code of Conduct. Additionally, compliance with JSOX control requirements is mandatory to ensure operational integrity.

Level 2 in English and Maths.
Previous experience in a logistics environment or customer facing role would be beneficial.
Microsoft Office skills (excel, word, PowerPoint, outlook) & ability to quickly learn systems
Good team player, willing to take responsibility, flexible, adaptable, pro-active, excellent communication, accuracy, logical thinking, problem solving and willingness to learn and develop.

At the completion of the apprenticeship you will receive Level 3 Supply Chain Practitioner (fast

moving consumer goods).
