Hours of work: 37.5 per week rotational shift pattern:

Week 1: Monday to Friday - 6am to 2pm

Week 2: Monday to Friday - 2pm to 10pm

The job role:

A processing mill operative is a hands-on role, ensuring that raw materials are converted into final products through precise control of machinery.

* Operate and monitor milling machinery to ensure efficient production and quality output

* Operating a Forklift in a safe manner

* In-line testing to monitor the moisture content of the ball clay

* Startup and shut down of the milling plant

* Use of other mobile plant equipment - front end loading shovels

* Meeting production targets

* Carry out site cleaning and promote good housekeeping practices

* Follow health and safety guidelines

You will:

* Bring motivation, drive and enthusiasm as this is a very hands-on role. In addition, you'll:

* Hold Full and valid UK driving licence

* Possess a Forklift licence for at least 12 months

* Understand health and safety in the workplace

* Have the willingness to learn and drive other mobile plant equipment (front end loading shovel)

* Possess basic numeracy, literacy and IT skills
