Graduate Java Developer - Perm £45k + bonus - FX Trading Solutions

A best-in-class FX solutions company is looking to hire a Graduate Java developer to support the development of high-performing low-latency software to enhance the core functionalities of their trading platform.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to progress both professionally (you can pave your career Pathway) and technically, with chances to upskill and learn as you go with the help of supportive senior staff.

Some of the duties involved:

• Designing, developing and improving key software and APIs
• Working closely with a multidisciplinary team of Front End, Product Management, QA and UX/UI specialists
• Write clean code and adhere to best practices
• Learning and building on your technical skill set wherever possible, both independently and with the help of the team

Salary: £40,000-£45,000 + bonus

Location: X3 per week in Central London (WC2B)

Requirements:

• Must have a minimum of 2:1 Degree in Computer Science
• Good understanding of Java development from an academic setting
• Understanding of data structures and algorithms (Hash Maps, Hash Tables etc).
• Ideally knowledge of garbage collection, memory and performance
• Desirable experience or interest in Mobile Development
• Does not require sponsorship or visa support in the upcoming years
