Job Spec, Quality Engineer

As a Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the implementation, improvement, and harmonization of quality processes across production. You will also work closely with various teams to maintain high standards and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Implement and continuously improve quality methods and processes across production.
Plan and oversee production processes to align with functional requirements during product launches and production changes.
Conduct audits on quality processes and methods, promoting best practices across multiple locations.
Lead structured improvement projects and provide coaching on quality methodologies.
Ensure the correct application of Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and oversee the validation of test instructions and results.
Define and maintain product and process testing requirements throughout production.
Perform audits in line with ISO 9001 standards to enhance quality management systems.

Key Requirements

Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent qualification).
Proven experience in a quality engineering role within a production/manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding and application of quality management systems, Six Sigma principles, and auditing processes.
Experience with production auditing and process FMEA.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively and drive quality improvements across teams.
