Jobs-in-Marketing is the recently-resurrected brand of a prominent marketing recruitment supplier, established 1999 with a wide range of clients across diverse business sectors. We cover roles at all levels - from graduate/entry to Director - in all disciplines of the marketing profession including digital, brand, category, PR and communications, commercial research, events, bids/tenders and strategy.

We have an opportunity for a junior Recruitment Project Manager (Consultant) to join the company and take on client assignments. The focus of the role is project management. It is not a sales role. We do not cold-call. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage projects/instructions, dealing with clients and candidates and representing the company in a positive, proactive and professional manner by following a proven step-by-step project procedure guide.
• Operate the company's bespoke CRM database.
• Identify, contact and interview candidates.
• Upload latest vacancies on to the company's website, partner job-boards and relevant social media platforms, generating the relevant content (job descriptions) etc.
• Attend and contribute to regular team meetings and assignment reviews etc.
• Represent the firm at corporate entertaining events, recruitment fairs and candidate open days etc.
The Ideal Candidate:
• A bright and purposeful individual with ideally (but not necessarily) a relevant degree or professional qualification, ideally in marketing, communications, economics or digital media. Applicants with qualifications in other subjects such as social studies or English will also be considered on merit, especially if they have a genuine interest in professional marketing.
• Well-organised, process-driven, professional and client-facing, with a cool temperament and able to multi-task under pressure.
• Dynamic, energetic and self-starting, possessing excellent interpersonal skills, written and verbal.
• Can demonstrate a good basic knowledge of the 'business landscape' of northwest England - i.e. the regional map, the main sectors/industries, travel times/distances, companies and organisations etc

This a superb career stepping-stone opportunity for the right candidate. Full in-role training and mentoring will be provided. Support funding for ongoing vocational qualifications is a possible, if desired.

The competitive starting basic salary, reviewable after six months, is supplemented by an uncapped quarterly bonus.

The role is office-based and conveniently situated for access via train, bus and Metrolink (Deansgate-Castlefield). Standard hours are (Apply online only), Mon-Thurs and (Apply online only) Friday, with one hour for lunch.

First interviews are scheduled for mid-late November 2024
