Duties and responsibilities
- Identifying new business opportunities by presenting the value of the companies offerings (both syndicated and consulting) to prospective clients
- Understanding the clients' business information needs across a range of business functions, including competitive intelligence, product marketing and market research
- Managing the initial process of cold calling to booking in a demo for a senior to take over
- Generating a pipeline of 5-8 demos booked weekly
- Exceeding monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Collaborating with the research team to identify new sales campaign messaging
- Providing input on new product development projects ('voice of the customer')
- Building great rapport and valuable working relationships within the industry and potential clients
