Job Title: FinOps Specialist Consultant - Subject Matter Expert (Cloud)
Rate: 700 to 800 Inside 
Locataion - 2 to 3 days onsite in London
Duration - 6 to 8 weeks

Position Overview:
My client is looking is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented FinOps consultant to develop Target Operating Models, governance frameworks, and processes for managing and monitoring cloud costs within financial services organisations. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the financial services sector, hands-on experience with multi-cloud and poly-cloud environments, and the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders to align on optimal FinOps solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement Target Operating Models to streamline financial operations and ensure efficient cost management across multi-cloud environments.
Worked extensively within Multi Cloud enviroments (AWS/GCP/Azure)
Lead the evaluation and selection of FinOps platforms to meet organizational needs.
Collaborate with technology and finance teams to define and implement FinOps requirements within complex financial services organizations.
Analyse cloud usage patterns and recommend cost optimization strategies.
Ensure compliance of FinOps solutions with financial regulations and legal standards.
Facilitate organizational change by training staff and promoting successful adoption of FinOps practices.
Demonstrated experience with third-party cloud FinOps platforms.Qualifications:

Experience working within the financial sector with a focus on cloud cost management.
Proficient in configuring and using third-party cloud FinOps and financial management tools.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage tight deadlines
