Are you the right person for the job?

Able to read engineering drawings
Experience in programming Fanuc control systems
Team player with the ability to work on own initiative
Experience in programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines
What will your role look like?

Responsible for setting and operating HASS CNC machines with Fanuc Controls to the required job specifications
Responsible for machine changeovers and production runs based on machine utilisation and target completion dates and within set tolerances. Following works orders, drawings and material specifications
Responsible for setting/ operating CMC Mills & lathe and machining centres by HASS CNC Fanuc controls Machines
Modify and create new programmes based on drawings and component demand
Using a range of measurement equipment including Vernier, micrometres
Ensuring that safe operating procedures are adhered to in the machine shop
Responsible for performing daily machine checks, carry out routine maintenance and reports
Working within the machining department ensuring the efficient running of CNC machines
Supervision of the machine shop area and operators in the absence of the machine shop Supervisor
Minimise machine set-up time
Reporting any malfunctions of equipment and minimising machine down-time
Responsible for maintaining the condition and stock levels of tooling
Maximise material utilisation
Train others to use the machines as and when required
