Responsibilities:
As a Workshop Technician, your exciting responsibilities will include:

Stripping down and assessing incoming machine tool spindles, motors, fan, and pump assemblies
Conducting fault finding and root cause analysis
Collaborating with technical specialists to create condition reports
Managing stock to ensure availability of spares
Cleaning, polishing, and preparing spindle components
Rebuilding products to OEM specifications and testing them
Adhering to industry standards such as 5S and ISO Quality Management

Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
We are looking for candidates who:

Have a solid understanding of mechanical fitting and machining
Are eager to learn and develop new skills
Take pride in punctuality, reliability, and attention to detail
Can work efficiently as part of a team
Understand Health & Safety standards

Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
While not essential, the following will give you an edge:

Competence in operating workshop equipment (lathes, milling machines, pillar drills)
Experience with electrical systems and measurement devices (DMMs, volt metres)
Familiarity with working to close tolerances
Previous experience using lifting equipment (full training provided)
