Location: North West and Midlands - covering various rail depots
Rate: £550 a day inside IR35
Contract length: Initial 6 months with likely extension
 
This is a great opportunity to undertake construction compliance of various PWAY/ track works on rail depots throughout North West and the Midlands.
 
Depots to be covered include Manchester, Crewe, Birmingham and Preston. The role requires 3 days a week to be based in the depots and ideally 1 weekend in 4 but this could be discussed at interview stage.
 
Previous experience of track renewal and track geometry is needed.  Also undertaking assurance works as well as manipulating data for certificates.
 
PTS is needed for this role and ideally both with AC and DC.
 
Ideally previous experience of production of S&C plain line track geometry acceptance certificates and experience of completing engineering verifications both in office and site.
 
This role could suit someone with track renewal experience who has worked as a CRE, project engineer or construction manager
