A new world-class start-of-the-art ripening facility is looking for an experience quality and ripening controller to join the quality team.

The Role

Carry out checks and report quality at in-loading, ripening, production, despatch.
Manage the ripening regimes and report performance against defined quality and technical KPI's.
Complete shelf life and accelerated ripening trials, reporting results.
Work closely with the Quality & Compliance Manager, Technical and Production teams to understand customer quality performance and take action accordingly.
Highlight quality performance at grower level, identify trends and help develop improvement ideas.
Assist with technical ripening trials.

The Candidate

Minimum 2 years' experience in a Fresh Produce within a quality function, really within fruit.
Ability to make decisions with a sense of urgency, adhering to tight schedules.
Good problem-solving skills with a strong ability to effectively identify problems and help resolve them.
