The Role - Behaviour Mentor

In this role as a Behaviour Mentor, you will be supporting students in KS3 and KS4 who have either been permanently excluded from their mainstream school or need assessment to determine whether they require an EHCP and what further steps are needed to be put into place to maintain their education. Due to the varying range of severity of needs of the students, prior experience in a PRU or in an SEMH school will be vital to ensure you have the correct skills to positively make a difference as a Behaviour Mentor.

The School - Pupil Referral Unit

Based in the borough of Merton, the Pupil Referral Unit provide bespoke learning plans to 66 students across KS3 and KS4 who have been permanently or temporarily removed from mainstream education. This 'Good' OFSTED rated PRU is a short walk from 2 tube stations.
