They are seeking a talented and experienced Mechanical Engineer to support their maintenance and engineering teams, ensuring smooth operations, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement across their production facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Leading and managing the engineering team to maintain and improve plant equipment and machinery.
* Developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
* Collaborating with production teams to optimize processes, drive efficiency, and reduce costs.
* Managing capital projects, including new equipment installation and facility upgrades.
* Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements related to food safety and equipment maintenance.
* Developing training programs to upskill engineering staff and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
* Overseeing budget management for the engineering department.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field).
* Proven experience in a similar role within the food manufacturing industry.
* Strong knowledge of food safety regulations (HACCP, GMP, etc.).
