Role Overview:
As an SEN Class Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons tailored to the individual needs of students with special educational needs. You will work closely with small groups and individual children to help them develop confidence, independence, and a love for learning.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the needs of students with SEN.
* Work with small groups and individual students to support their learning and development.
* Prepare teaching materials and resources that are inclusive and adaptable.
* Take registers, mark work, and monitor student progress.
* Write detailed reports on student performance and development.
* Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive, supportive learning environment.
* Maintain regular communication with parents and carers to discuss student progress.
* Collaborate with staff to provide holistic support for students' academic and personal growth.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
* Experience or a relevant qualification in Special Educational Needs Education is highly desirable.
* Passionate about working with children and committed to supporting their individual learning needs.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and a flexible attitude towards teaching methods.
