Trade Counter Assistant - Cambridge - £25-28k (DOE)

We are currently seeking a Trade Counter Assistant on behalf of our client based in Waterbeach, Cambridge! This role is perfect for someone that enjoys a variety of tasks as part of a small team!

Salary: £25-28k (DOE)

Hours: 08:00am-17:00pm (40)

Holiday: 25 days + Bank holidays

Job Responsibilities:

• Serving members of the public on the trade counter, taking payment and advising on products.
• Answering incoming calls into the office, logging jobs and new orders on the system.
• Assisting in the yard in preparing stock to go out of the depot.
• Stock control, ensuring necessary amounts of each product are in stock and monitoring inventory.
• Occasionally making deliveries to local customers.

What are we looking for?

• A team player, happy to be a big part of a small team.
• Great communication and customer service skills.
• Previous experience in dealing with customers both face to face, and over the phone.
• Counterbalance forklift (desirable not essential)
• Experience in stock control/stores role (desirable)
