PURPOSE OF ROLE:

Our mission is to ensure the welfare of children and young people with disabilities in need or at risk by providing timely, high-quality social work services. You will manage and support our team of Social Workers, Child in Need Workers, students and social workers in their assessed and supported year in employment (ASYE) programme, providing them with reflective supervision and guidance in complex cases.

You will adhere to the highest standards of social work practice as outlined in Hounslow’s policies and procedures. As a visible member of the Management Team, you will contribute to strategic policy and procedural developments within our team and division.

You will support the Team Manager in maintaining the highest professional standards of practice through rigorous quality assurance processes that align with statutory guidelines.

You will manage up to six team members daily, ensuring they have the resources they need to carry out their roles effectively.
