JOB DESCRIPTIONPrimary objectives for the Creche Assistant will be:
- To ensure the creche area is safe and clean for use at all times. To control and supervise children in the area and ensure their safety.
- To ensure the creche operation is in line with the Club's Normal Operating Procedures. (NOP's)
- To ensure the highest possible standards of Childcare are provided at all times.
The Creche Assistant will focus day to day on the following tasks:
- Ensure the continued safety and security of all children using the creche, and take responsibility for users of the creche in an emergency.
- Deliver activities for creche users, promoting children's welfare through participation, and supervise them at all times.
- Supervise children whilst they use the toilet facilities, ensuring relevant PPE is available and maintained (Personal Protection Equipment).
- Act as a key worker for children settling into the creche as required.
- Ensure the children are returned to their parents or guardians.
- Constantly examine all equipment, materials and areas that are used and through the unit fault reporting system report any defects or hazards immediately to your line manager.
- Liaise with parents to ensure correct information is provided on all aspects of their child's care.
- To follow the requirements of the Child Protection Policy.
- To attend training and development as required.
- To undertake any other duties appropriate to the role as required by the facility management.
