Job Title: Business Development Manager (Chemicals).

Location: Wellingborough (fully remote)

Salary: £45k - £55K per annum (DOE) plus 6/7K bonus annually

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join a dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with a passion for winning new clients, lead chasing and making a huge impact on revenue for the business. They manufacture sealers, primers, coatings, cleaners and resigns. They are on track for over £5 Million in revenue in 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

Market research and strategy development - identifying industry trends and differing customer needs.
Sales and Business Development for the Chemical industry - build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and lead the entire sales process.
Keep updated on advancements in coatings and construction chemicals.
Develop strong relationships with suppliers, distributors and industry partners to enhance market reach.
Represent the business at industry events, trade shows and conferences to build the brands visibility.
Working closely with R&D, production and marketing teams.

Requirements:

Experience in a Business Development or sales role, specifically within the Chemical Sector.
Experience working in construction chemicals is a massive bonus.
Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
Strong at building and maintaining good relationships with key stakeholders.
Strategic way of thinking with a results driven mindset.
Solid sales process.
