Astute's Renewables team is partnering with a large commercial and industrial Solar business who are looking for a Project Director on a 3 to 6 month contract

The Project Director role comes with a highly competitive day rate and reasonable expenses.

This role will ideally require a couple of days in the office in central London per week.

Responsibilities and duties

Reporting to the CEO you will:

Manage a portfolio of circa 50 rooftop solar projects with a value of circa £50m
Manage the projects via the Project Managers who are the first point of contact on these projects
Provide overseeing support to the Project Managers on site when required
Deal with any major escalations on projects
Occasional site presence where required with the sites being from 50kw assets to over 1MW

Professional qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

Previous experience in the commercial and industrial solar sector
Management experience in the solar sector
Experience managing large budgets and a multi-project format
