About the role - Teaching Assistant

I am currently working with this all-through school based in Tower hamlets who are looking for an experienced 1:1 teaching assistant who is confident and comfortable working closely with a secondary aged student that has Autism. The ideal 1:1 teaching assistant will be caring, patient and committed; confident in supporting the child's needs. The successful 1:1 Teaching Assistant will be able to build rapport well and become an excellent role model to the students around the school. The school are looking for someone who can follow instructions from the SENCO and work well as a team player in the department.
