Key Responsibilities:

• Managing the company’s sales ledger and ensuring prompt collection of payments from clients in the media industry.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to facilitate smooth debt recovery.
• Investigating and resolving any invoicing discrepancies and queries in a timely manner.
• Liaising with internal teams such as sales, finance, and legal departments to resolve complex billing issues.
• Monitoring aged debt and taking necessary action to meet collection targets.
• Reconciling accounts and managing cash allocation.
• Producing regular reports on debtors and overdue accounts for senior management.
• Supporting the finance team with ad-hoc tasks as required.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Proven experience as a Credit Controller within the media industry is essential.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage client relationships professionally.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with a high level of accuracy.
• Good knowledge of credit control procedures, accounts reconciliation, and cash allocation.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and handle multiple priorities.
• Experience using accounting software (e.g., SAP, Sage, Xero) and strong proficiency in MS Excel.
