We require Production CNC Operators for a permanent position near Newmarket. CNC experience ideal for a minimum of 1 year. We are looking for candidates with experience is operating CNC machinery, experience with welding, with operating combilifts, experience with operating any of the above machines or specifically experience with steel. Salary: £23,800 - £30,000 per annum
Location: Kentford near Newmarket
Work type: Production Operative (CNC Operator, Forklift)
Work hours: 0600 AM - 1400 PM
Shift Type: Monday - Friday
Key Requirements:
- Operating a selection of manual and CNC based machinery for metal processing
- Processing steel to customers' requirements and tolerances. Working within the company's quality system to ensure the full traceability of customer orders
- Operate forklifts, Combilifts and the crane safely and in a controlled manner
- Ensuring daily checks are performed on your equipment, crane and forklift/Combilift, these are to be carried out before you start your shift
- Identifying and locating different steel products using appropriate measuring equipment
